Impact of Extra-Curricular Activities on Academic Performance of Students in Adeyemi College of Education

Abstract
The study examined the impact of extra-curricular activities on academic performance of student in Adeyemi College of Education Ondo. The population for the study comprises of five (5) schools of which a sample of five different departments were randomly selected for the study. The study adopted descriptive survey research design and questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection. Findings from the study revealed that there is relationship between extra-curricular activities and academic performance of student. There some specific types of extra-curricular activities that have a more pronounced impact on academic outcomes. The findings also revealed potential benefits and drawbacks of extra-curricular participation in the context of academic achievement.
