Abstract

Effective cost management is crucial for the success and sustainability manufacturing industries. This study investigates the relationship between cost management practices and the performance of standard impressions resources, a water
production industry. The research objectives include determining the relationship
between cost management and the company's performance in terms of profitability, productivity and competitiveness
the quantitative approach was used, with a sample size of 52 selected from a population
of 60 employees. The study employed descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze
data. The findings will provide insights into the cost management practices of the water
production industry and their effects on performance. The results will also contribute to
existing body of knowledge and provide recommendations for improvising cost
management and perforтаnc
