Promotional Strategies and Marketing Performance of First Bank Plc, Uyo Metropolis

Abstract
The study examined promotional strategies and Marketing performance of First Bank Plc. Uyo metropolis. Descriptive research was used the sample size of 89 was derived using the taro yamane technique. Data obtained for the study were analyzed using tables, frequency and percentage While three hypotheses formulated and tested using simple linear regression model. Findings of this study showed that there is a positive significant relationship between public relation, personal selling and sales promotion. Therefore it is concluded that promotional strategies plays a crucial role in the marketing performance of Fred Bank. Based on the findings of the study, it could be recommended that banks should use Scales promotions to get new customers and enable potential customers to take action quickly, make larger purchases, and make repeat purchases also banks should use personal selling persons so as to sell their products and services Like ATM cards, for new account opening, to increase online banking users because involves personal interaction between two or more people, so each person can observe the other's needs and characteristics and make quick adjustments and lastly banks should have their own public relations and initiate and arranges conferences, meetings and get together with its customers so as to build strong relationship.
