Abstract
The research work with the theoretical framework explores the complexities of race and identity, highlighting a critical examination of Angie Thomas’ The Hate U Give, by exploring this literary work, this study reveals how the text foresee racial discrimination by the Americans. Through a careful analysis of the themes, this research demonstrates how African literary voices offers valuable insights into the complex nature of African experiences. The novel serves as a powerful commentary on systemic injustice and the impact of societal stereotypes. Racism towards the blacks manifests through systemic discrimination and historical injustices, impacting various aspects of life, including health and justice systems. The ongoing struggle for racial equality highlights the complex interplay between societal structures and individual experiences of racism. This essay concludes that the novel is a profound exploration of the societal issues that affect marginalised communities, encouraging readers to reflect on their own beliefs and actions regarding race and justice.
