Abstract

ABSTRACT The research work examined the "Relevance of Accounting Information to Management Decision Making Process with particular reference to Josmary Pure Water Factory, Osogbo, Osun State. The study examined whether accounting information has any impact on profitability of Manufacturing Company. This was carried out using primary data. The data was analyzed and the hypothesis was tested using correlation coefficient. The results showed that accounting information has impact on profitability of Manufacturing Company. The result also showed that there is significant relationship between the perception of the employees and accounting information of the firm. It was concluded that accounting information performs a crucial role on management decisions and organization performances, which has been shown to be major force in decision making. It is therefore recommended that employees should he encouraged to develop themselves by becoming professionals in their chosen career, this will affect the company to grow positively. Finally. efforts should be made to measure the effects of currently employed accounting concept on management decision making. Keywords: Accounting.
