Abstract
This project examines the proposal for the construction of a multiplex and shopping mall in Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria. The development aims to provide a modern integrated facility combining retail, entertainment, leisure, and commercial spaces within one architectural complex. Rapid population growth, increased urbanization, and consumer demand for convenient shopping and recreational services motivate the project. Data for this study were obtained through site observation, feasibility assessment, and review of existing literature on urban commercial infrastructure. Findings reveal that such developments can stimulate economic growth, reduce commercial congestion, and enhance social interaction. The proposed multiplex and mall are projected to generate employment, improve infrastructural aesthetics, and attract local and international business interest. The study concludes that Lekki’s strategic location offers a viable environment for sustainable commercial expansion
