Effect of Employee's Engagement Strategies on Organizational Effectiveness in Dangote Sugar Company Nigeria

This study examined the effect of employee's engagement strategies on organizational
effectiveness in Dangote Sugar Company, Nigeria. The study specifically aimed to
determine the effect of vigor, dedication, and absorption as a dimension of employee's
engagement on organizational effectiveness in Dangote Sugar Company, Nigeria. Data for
the study were generated from both primary and secondary sources; the instrument of
primary data is questionnaire, while secondary source utilizes both published and
unpublished text materials. Simple percentage and statistical mean were employed to
analyze data for the study. A sample of 103 was drawn from the population of 140 staff
using Krejcie and Morgan table. Based on the findings, the study revealed that vigor,
dedication, and absorption as a dimension of employee's engagement has significant
effects on organizational effectiveness in Dangote Sugar Company, Nigeria. It was
concluded that when employees exhibit high vigor, they are more likely to be energetic and
motivated, leading to increased productivity. Furthermore, the study concluded that
dedicated employees are more likely to put in extra effort and time to complete tasks
efficiently, ultimately increasing overall productivity. Some recommendations were made
among others that managers of organizations should improve vigor among employees
since it improves staff performance and enhance organizational performance;
management of organizations should promote dedication among employees by rewarding
