Abstract
This study evaluated the in vitro anti-diabetic activity of Senna Alata by the alpha-glucosidase inhibition assay. The plant (Senna alata) was harvested fresh from its natural habitat in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. Identified with the leaf snap App at the point of collection but was authenticated with batch numbers at the botany laboratory of Delta State University. The alpha-glucos idase inhibition assay was determined using standard methods.
