Serum Sex Hormonal and Immunoglobulin Changes of Giloy

Abstract
ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus, a disease-causing male infertility and immune dysfunction due to oxidative stress, can be effectively managed through the use of medicinal plants. The study explores the effect of aqueous extract on Tinospora cordifolia (giloy) on blood glucose level and immunological function in alloxan diabetic rats. Twenty-five male Wistar rats were used in the study, weighing 140 to 170 g, and grouped into five groups of five animals each. Group A received feed and water only; groups B, C, and D received Alloxan, respectively; groups C and D received low and high doses of giloy extracts; and group E received a high dose of giloy extracts alone for 28 days.
