Abstract
This study investigated the biodegradation potential of indigenous soil microorganisms isolated from spent engine oil (SEO)-contaminated sites in Ilorin, Nigeria. Soil samples were analyzed for microbial loads, physicochemical properties, and their capacity to degrade SEO under controlled conditions
