Abstract
This study investigates the prevalence of malaria, diarrhea, and hypertension within Ekiti State in 2021, using statistical analyses such as the t-test and ANOVA. These diseases remain significant health concerns in Nigeria, especially in rural areas where access to healthcare and proper sanitation is limited. Data was collected from both primary and secondary health facilities across local governments, with a focus on gender-based disease distribution. The study revealed that malaria was the most prevalent disease, with a slightly higher incidence in females, although the difference was not statistically significant. Similarly, diarrhea and hypertension showed no significant gender disparities. The findings suggest a need for targeted health interventions, particularly in areas with the highest disease burdens, to improve access to healthcare and sanitation.
