Abstract
Abstract
The study focuses on the design, construction, and testing of an automated sprinkler irrigation system for small plots. The system uses a rotating water pump to irrigate the soil efficiently while minimizing water wastage and runoff. Key sensors — DHT11 (for soil moisture, temperature, and humidity) — monitor environmental conditions and send signals to a PIC16F877A microcontroller, which automatically switches the sprinkler ON or OFF based on soil moisture levels. A 16x2 LCD display shows real-time system data, and a dual power supply (main utility and battery) ensures continuous operation.
