Abstract

This project is on proposed potable water factory. Chapter 1 focuses on the introduction aspect of the study, background of the study, statement of the problem, aim and objectives of the study, scope of the design, and limitation of study. Chapter 2 deals with the literature review, historical background, the efficient factory layout, orientation of factory building, and thermal comfort in factory building. Chapter 3 emphases on the research methodology, materials and method, case study 1, case study 2, case study 3, project location, merit and demerit, procedures for data collection, and method of data analysis. Chapter 4 deals with site studies and environmental control, site location, topography, and site analysis.
Chapter 5 focuses on the design solution and discussion, design considerations, design concept. Chapter 6 deals with summary, conclusion and recommendations.
