Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research was on the effectiveness of motivation on job performance among Osun State Journalist. The Purpose of this study is to explore the effect of motivation on employee performance in Osun State Journalist. The study has the following abjectives, to examine lie relevance of motivation in hoasting journalist's productivin, to investigate the impact of motivational gool setting on the performance of tournalist in Date Suare and to caamure the ffect of argiimzational communication on journalists productivity. The study wealized descriptive research design in order to descrihe the variables of the study. The target papulation of the hdy was 100 and sample size of 150 The Data was being collected used sonuctured questionnaire as a research instrument. The results and findings indicated that monetary rewards, job enrichment have significant and positive effects on employer performance, in whole there is positive and insignificant effect of training on employes performance also results indicate there were good relationship between motivation and emplovet performance and the research results showed that employee motivation influences employer performance of Osan State Journalist The researcker recommends that all employees should be motivated to exure thes are retained and this will improve performance In sis way overall organizational productesty and effectiveness can be enhanced. The study comchuled that the company partially used recognition and reward programs hat they were not affective in motivating employees in perform. The current recognition and reward programs were perceived by the employees as being inequitable and unfair, thereby making them ineffective in motivating the employees Therefore, the study recommends that management re-evaluates and re-engineers the current recognition and reward program and therefore change the perception of the employees about
