Abstract
The design and development of a power system demonstrating unit for generation, transmission, and distribution aim to enhance the educational experience for students and professionals in the electrical and electronics field. This project addresses the inherent gaps in practical training by providing a comprehensive model that simulates real-world power system operations. The methodology involves a need assessment to define clear objectives based on user requirements, followed by a conceptual design that outlines the necessary components and their interconnections. The development phase includes creating instructional materials, such as manuals and multimedia resources, to support the learning process. The demonstrating unit consists of various modules representing generation stations, transmission networks, substations, and distribution systems. Each module is designed to illustrate key concepts and operational principles, ensuring users grasp the complexities of power systems effectively. The results indicate that the unit successfully integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, significantly improving learners' understanding of power system dynamics. The project serves as a vital resource for training future engineers and enhancing their readiness for real-world challenges in the power sector.
