Influence of Ai-Driven Political Communication on Uyo Electorates Voting Decision During the 2024 Lga Election

Abstract
This study examined the Influence AI-Driven Political Communication on Uyo Electorate Voting Decision During The 2024 LGA Election. The research was guided by three objectives which find out the extent to which AI was deployed in political communication messaging during the 2024 LG election in Uyo, Ascertain if AI driven political communication influenced the voting decision of Uyo electorate during the election, probe the extent to which AI driven political communication influences voting decision during 2024 council election in Uyo. The theoretical framework used for this work are: Innovation Diffusion Theory and Technological Determinism theory. The research design adopted for this study was survey method and the convenience sampling techniques was adopted to administer the questionnaire, questionnaire was the main data gathering. The study concluded that AI enable personalized and data driven political messages enhancing voters engagement and mobilization, as Uyo LGA continues to adopt AI its democratic processes, striking a balance between innovation and accountability will be critical to ensuring fair and credible elections.
