Abstract
Conflicts are natural occurrences in every organization and can either enhance or hinder productivity depending on how they are managed. This study investigates the effect of conflict resolution strategies on organizational effectiveness, using IBBI, Nassarawa, Kaduna as a case study. A descriptive survey research design was adopted, and data were collected from staff through structured questionnaires. The findings show that poor communication, competition for resources, role ambiguity, and interpersonal differences are major sources of conflict within the organization. The study also reveals that adopting effective strategies such as negotiation, mediation, dialogue, and collaborative problem solving improves employee morale, enhances teamwork, and promotes organizational efficiency. It concludes that appropriate conflict management approaches are vital for improving performance and recommends continuous training, transparency, and improved communication systems within the workplace
