Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study was based on "Impact of Electronic Mail on Handling Information by Office Professionals in an Organization ". Sending and receive information is based on electronic, through the use of e-mail service It is in this regards that this study is embarked upon review of related views on the type of emails service available in the internet, benefit of using e-mail in an organization, effective ways an office professional employ e-mail service for higher productivity, challenges related to e-mail service amon the office professional were discussed, it was discovered that e-mail message is faster than ordinary mail. Four objectives of the study and four research questions were drawn for data collection. Data were collected from fifty (50) respondents from the organization through structured questionnaires and were analyzed by using arithmetic mean. The conclusion has that emails enhance the productivity of office professionals and most organizations can make the use of application of email to enable them handle their duties effectively. The researcher recommended that the organizations among others should link with email facilities in order to compete with communication and development
