Educational Tecnologies, Teaching Method and Otm Student Academic Performance in Tertiary Institution in Ekiti State

ABSTRACT
This paper discusses the database management systems educational tecnologies, teaching method and otm student academic performance in tertiary institution in Ekiti State. The research was carried out to find the solution to the research questions; What is the level of educational technologies available for the teaching of OTM students in tertiary institutions in Ekiti State? What are the teaching methods applied by OTM lecturers in teaching and learning process in public tertiary institutions in Ekiti State? What is effect of educational technologies on the academic performance of OTM students in tertiary institutions in Ekiti State? The location that was chosen to carry out the study are; the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State University, and Bamidele Olumiluwa University of Education Science and Technology Ikere-Ekiti. The researcher used a well-structured questionnaire to gather its data. The research further recommended that; Public tertiary institutions in Ekiti State Should Incorporating interactive educational technology tools such as simulations, virtual reality, and educational games can engage students in active learning experiences, fostering deeper understanding and retention of concepts., and Organizations should Ensure that educational technology resources are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities or diverse learning needs, is crucial for creating an inclusive learning environment. This research concluded that educational technology and the implementation of effective teaching methods, including teaching modules (OTM), have significantly contributed to improving student academic performance. As technology continues to evolve, educators must continue to explore innovative ways to leverage educational technology and teaching methods to support student success in the digital age.
