Abstract

The growing need for effective and user-friendly library management solutions in academic institutions has led to the adoption of digital systems that streamline traditional operations. This study explores the design and implementation of a digital library management system, focusing on a secure user registration system, library card generation, clearance request submission, and user data protection.
Utilizing modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a backend database for efficient data management, the system follows an agile development methodology for iterative testing and refinement based on user feedback. Developed with a responsive web interface, the system ensures compatibility across multiple devices and incorporates strong authentication measures to enhance service delivery, reduce administrative workload, and improve the student experience.
The research assesses the system's usability, efficiency, and impact on library operations, highlighting its ability to replace manual processes, minimize paperwork, and improve accessibility. This project offers a practical digital solution for academic institutions seeking to automate library management while providing a scalable framework for future advancements.
