Abstract
Human Resources Development (HRD) plays a vital role in enhancing organizational productivity through continuous training, capacity building, skill acquisition and motivation. This study assesses how HRD practices influence productivity in Crittal Hope Aluminium, Kaduna. Primary and secondary data were used to evaluate training procedures, employee development initiatives and performance outcomes. The findings reveal that well-structured training programs, employee motivation, career development and effective supervision significantly improve employee efficiency and product quality. However, challenges such as inadequate funding, poor training facilities and irregular assessment of employee needs hinder development. The study recommends increased investment in HRD, continuous professional training, proper evaluation frameworks and strategic policy implementation to improve overall productivity and organizational growth.
