Impact of E-Naira on Financial Inclusion in Nigeria: a Study of Anyigba

Abstract
This study examined impact of E-Naira on financial inclusion in Nigeria using primary sourced data sourced directly from respondents. The study examines the demographic characteristics of e-Naira users in Anyigba; examines how eNaira impact on financial inclusion in Anyigba employing survey research design as analytical technique. The findings showed that there is significant impact of eNaira on financial inclusion in the study area. The findings further indicate that eNaira payment charges significantly impact on financial inclusion. In the same vein, the respondents also agreed that eNaira enhances transactions performance of customers, further agreed that Financial services through the eNaira helps households financial arrangement. The respondents agreed that eNaira promotes Nigerian digital currency in the international market. The study recommends that government should ensure the effective measures are put in place to increase the level of eNaira transactions in Nigeria.
