Work Environment and Employees Performance in Nigeria (a Case Study of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State)

Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to assess the impact of workplace environment and employees performance in Auchi Polytechnic. The specific objectives of this study is to determine whether physical work has influences on employees job satisfaction, to also examine whether supervisor support contribute towards employees productivity, and also to assess the use of workplace incentives to enhance employees efficiency. The data from the retrieved questionnaires was analyzed using frequency distribution tables and percentages. The hypotheses were tested using Regression methods.: The researcher discovered the physical work environment does not significantly influences employees job satisfaction, it also revealed that supervisor support does not significantly contributes to an increase in employee productivity and workplace incentives does not enhance employees efficiency. It is concluded that while supervisor support has a significant impact on employee productivity, the physical workplace incentives does not have significant influences on job satisfaction and efficiency. However, both physical work environment, supervisor support and workplace incentives all have positive impacts on employees job satisfaction, productivity and efficiency respectively.
