Abstract
In most universities today, students in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering
and Computer Science encounter a significant challenge: the unavailability of accessible and
practical training resources. While theoretical understanding is essential, practical experience is
crucial for a comprehensive grasp of embedded system operation and design, given their inherent
complexity. Unfortunately, traditional classroom instruction often fails to provide the necessary
practical exposure. The absence of accessible training resources or dedicated laboratories makes
it challenging for students to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and real-world
applications. This limitation inhibits their ability to fully comprehend intricate embedded system
concepts and hampers their development of practical skills. Consequently, graduates may possess
theoretical knowledge without the practical competencies required for success in the field.
Furthermore, this theory-practice divide does not only constrain students' potential to innovate
but also hinders the advancement of the embedded systems field. Without hands-on experience
with diverse components and systems, graduates are ill-equipped to tackle challenges in
real-world scenarios, impeding progress and innovation in the sector. Moreover, existing
embedded system trainers often lack a comprehensive range of components necessary for
holistic learning.
