The study was on “Effect of Insecurity on Logistics and Marketing Distribution of Goods/services”; with God is Good Motors, Auchi as the study area. Rising insecurity is showing up in local trade statistics as the sector contracted 2.43 percent in the first quarter of 2021, making of the eight consecutive for many years now as a result of insecurity, there have been poor logistics management in all aspect of the economy especially in the area of marketing in such a way that its effect has been a setback in the marketing sector. Marketing logistics is a process of managing all activities required to strategically move raw materials, parts and finished goods inventory from vendors between enterprise facilities and to consumers. It is in light of the above that the researcher focused the study on that insecurity aspect of marketing logistics that can help reduce loss of revenue, and provision of safety on the country roads. The objective here is not only to acquaint transporters in the need to ensure safety of the country’s roads but to also highlight its relevance to economic growth, and development. For the purpose of clarity and logical sequence, the study is divided into a number of chapters, Chapter one provides an insight into what the entire study hopes to achieve from the point of view of the research aims and objectives. It also provides reasons for the necessary attention to be paid to logistics marketing by way of its significance. Chapter two contains review of related literature that highlights insecurity on the roads and logistics marketing generally and problems of insecurity on the roads. The methodology adopted in collection of data which includes the research method used, population and sample size determination, source of data collection, methods, validity and reliability of instrument used, samples techniques and treatment of data were briefly highlighted in chapter three. While chapter four and five take care of analysis and interpretation of questionnaires administered, personal interview and test of the three hypothesis earlier formulated for the study which lead the researcher to the findings, conclusion and recommendations as to lack of capital repositioning of transportation, tackling of armed random kidnapping and banditry on the road, allowing the law to take its course on those found capable and the government to declare a state of emergency on the country’s roads were made.
