Workplace Spirituality and Workers Commercial Banks in Rivers State

ABSTRACT
This research study set out to examine the relationship between Workplace spirituality and workers commitment on Commercial Banks in Rivers State. For the purpose of this study, four hypotheses were formulated and questionnaires were designed and copies distributed. The population size was two hundred and seven (207), while the taro yamen's formula was used to compute a sample size of one hundred and thirty six (136) which was administered with questionnaire. The cross-sectional design was use as the research design, it was used because it is a research method used to observe a define population at a given time. Data for research design were collected via secondary and primary sources; the secondary sources include textbooks, journals, articles, seminar papers and periodicals while the primary data was obtained through questionnaire and personal interview. The spearman rank order correlation coefficient was used to analyze the data. The findings reveal that there is a positive statistically significant relationship between Transcendence and affective commitment". there is a positive statistically significant relationship between Transcendence and continuance commitment". There is a positive statistically significant relationship between Connectedness and Affective commitment". There is a positive statistically significant relationship between Connectedness and Continuance commitment.
