Proposed Library With Emphasis on Acoustic Materials for Federal University Birnin Kebbi

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to ascertain an effective library for the school with an active acoustic control, achieving maximum acoustic comfort for it daily users. A thorough investigation and research was conducted locally and internationally where information and data was acquired on how to achieve the set functional requirement. The research proves that a library has to attain a certain level acoustic control for users to be able to assimilate as the make research and review on information provided in the facility.
To conclude a library as a public building has to take into consideration people with different kind of reading habits and assimilation speed, there also taking into consideration people with special abilities and lastly offices for it team of staffs and multiple forms of information sources.
