Abstract

ABSTRACT
Nollywood film has come to be accepted as African largest film industry and is patronized all over Africa and parts of Europe and South America. The industry which sits comfortably as the world second film industry has over the years produced film with themes dealing with crime (both domestic and otherwise), love and romance, fantasy, rituals, religion and beliefs. Belief here implies superstations, negative beliefs among Nigerian and belief on the type of culture difference Nigerians encounter while abroad. The study looks at the cultural differences between Nigeria culture and western culture as expressed in Nollywood films using 30 Days in Atlanta and Osuofia in London as case study. The study presents the culture difference, the difficulties individual from one culture face adapting to the other, and problems encountered by the individual found in another.
