Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between death rates and two potential contributing factors, anemia and malaria in pregnancy. The analysis was based on a sample of 12 observations and employed multiple regression analysis along with correlation studies. The findings that there is a significant relationship between death rates and both anemia and malaria in pregnancy. The regression equation shows that for every unit increase in anemia death rates increase by approximately 0.9825 units, while for every unit increase in malaria death rates increase by approximately 1.2678 units. The correlation analysis also reveals significant positive correlation between death rates and both anemia( r=0.786) and malaria (r=0.911). The results suggest that anemia and malaria are significant predictors of both rates in pregnancy and that addressing these conditions through effective prevention and treatment strategies may help Mortality rates in pregnant women
