Abstract
This research, titled "Exploring Indigenous Fabric Using Marble-Dyed Materials in School Uniforms and Accessories," examines the application of marble-dyed fabrics as an innovative approach to designing school uniforms and related accessories. The study investigates the aesthetic, functional, and cultural significance of incorporating marble-dyed materials, aiming to balance creativity and tradition in educational attire. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research gathered insights from school administrators, parents, and students to evaluate the perception, practicality, and acceptability of marble-dyed fabrics. The findings reveal that marble-dyed fabrics enhance the visual appeal and uniqueness of school uniforms while promoting individuality and a sense of cultural identity. Additionally, the durability, cost-effectiveness, and adaptability of marble-dyed fabrics were found to align with the practical requirements of school uniforms and accessories. Challenges such as maintenance, uniformity, and stakeholder acceptance were identified, highlighting areas for strategic intervention. The research underscores the potential of indigenous materials in redefining traditional school uniforms, advocating for sustainability, cultural preservation, and creative expression within educational institutions.
