Enhancing Water Quality (a Case Study of Ikpoba River, Benin City)

Abstract

This project is aimed enlightening people on the source of water supply within
the metropolis of Benin City, Edo State.
A study was carried out on the sources of water supply, quality and impurities in
water storage reservoirs, treatment systems, water supply distribution,
distribution systems, network and World Health Organization (WHO) water
quality standard for drinking water was met.
Finally, appropriate recommendations were made on the method and supply of
water and how best to get the best quality of water to all its consumers.
