Abstract

theoretical work information for the study was basically from the questionnaire survey
participation research method, secondary source of data were explored to enhance the
accumulation of relevant data for this work. The generate data were analyzed using
*descriptive statisties such as mean simple percentage and table illustrations the result of
the finding show that eco-tourism play a significant role in sustainable development i n
the state that eco-tourism is one of the cardinal employers of labour in cross river state
could help i n t h e attainment o f millennium development goals. Based o n the
aforementioned finding i t i s recommended that government should provide adequate
security measure, improve upon the infrastructural facilities and invest adequately in
