Abstract
This project examines the application of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). Example healthcare datasets were analyzed in Microsoft Excel to determine whether treatment differences were statistically significant. Results from both designs produced p-values greater than 0.05, indicating no significant group effects. The work highlights ANOVA’s importance in partitioning variability, reducing Type I error rates, and improving decision-making in experimental research. It also emphasizes the efficiency of computer-aided analysis for accurate and reproducible statistical results.
