Abstract

ABSTRACT
This project focuses on the design and implement ion of a computerized bus booking system for Okin Transport Limited, Offa, with the aim of improving the efficiency anu reliability of the company's booking operations. The traditional manual system currently in use has led to issues such as booking errors, loss of records, time wastage, and customer dissatisfaction. The proposed system automates ticket reservations, seat selection, schedule management, and payment processing, ensuring a smoother and more user-friendly experience for both staff and customers. It was developed using web-based technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL for real-time data storage and retrieval. The system enhances service delivery by minimizing human error, reducing paperwork, and allowing for easier tracking of trips and transactions. The outcome demonstrates that the new system provides a secure, accessible, and scalable solution that supports Okin Transport in streamlining its operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.
