It explores how SMEDAN's initiatives have influenced the growth and sustainability of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the region. Through qualitative method of research, the study assesses various programs, training, and support services provided by SMEDAN, highlighting their effectiveness in fostering entrepreneurial skills, job creation, and economic empowerment among local entrepreneurs. The result showed that SMEDAN support programs have significantly improved access to finance, business training and market opportunities for entrepreneurs in Garki Community. However, challenges persist, including poor managerial skills, low demand, lack of access to funds and multiple taxes and levies. The findings aim to inform policy recommendations for enhancing SME's development through Government Support initiatives in Nigeria.
