Abstract
ABSTRACTA field trial was conducted during the 2024 wet season at the research farm of Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta, Kano State, Nigeria. The treatments were laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) and replicated three times. The results of the study revealed that Ex- Shantake and Ex- Marke exhibited similar responses in growth parameters, including the number of leaves, plant height, and number of branches. However, Ex- Marke outperformed other treatments in terms of leaf area index and fresh yield parameters.
