A Study of Road Traffic Accident Cases in Nigeria

Abstract
This research work is aimed to study the trend pattern of road accident Cases in Nigeria from the extracted data of Federal road safety corps and Nigeria bureau of statistics. The data obtained from this section covers the period of (2020 fourth quarter – 2024 first quarter).
The data collected were analyzed using the Box-Jenkins method.
The result from the analysis revealed that, there exists an upward trend in the accident cases during the fourth quarter of each year.
