Abstract
ABSTRACT
Health Clinical Information Systems (HCIS) are essential tools in the digital transformation of healthcare, enabling efficient management, access, and sharing of patient data within clinical environments. These systems integrate functionalities such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), diagnostic tools, appointment scheduling, and clinical decision support. The development of HCIS often relies on web-based technologies, including HTML for structuring user interfaces, CSS for styling and enhancing user experience, and PHP for server-side scripting and database interaction. These technologies support the creation of responsive, interactive, and secure platforms that healthcare professionals can use to access and update patient information in real-time. By leveraging these software tools, HCIS applications can be customized to meet the specific needs of healthcare institutions while ensuring interoperability and data integrity. Despite their advantages, challenges such as data privacy, cybersecurity, system scalability, and user training remain critical considerations. This paper explores the role of foundational web technologies in building effective Health Clinical Information Systems and their impact on improving clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
