Impact of Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance in an Organization

Abstract
This project work examined the "Impact of Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance in an Organization", a case study of International Breweries Plc, Ilesa, Osun State. The objective of the study is to examine the impact of job satisfaction on employee's performance as well as to examine other variables that can contribute to employee's performance. The study was carried out using primary and secondary data. Data were collected through a field survey using a questionnaire from staffers of the organization and was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Findings from the study showed that reward system and employee's level of training and career development have positive and significant effects on job satisfaction. The study revealed positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee's performance. It was recommended that the management of the company must ensure the satisfaction and contentment of their employees at all time especially when they are at work. The organization should be more concerned about the financial benefits and revised the existing monetary rewards systems so as to retain and attract their employees.
