Abstract
Abstract:
This research examines the linguistic and rhetorical styles of “Afraah wa Atiraah” by Abdulrahman Umar Bagarawa, focusing on the use of informative (khbari) and expressive (insha’i) statements. The study highlights how the poet employs these two modes to express joy, sorrow, and deep emotional reflections. Through descriptive and analytical methods, the research reveals the aesthetic balance between statement and emotion, reason and imagination. It concludes that Bagarawa’s poetry reflects both intellectual depth and artistic beauty through the skillful use of rhetorical expressions.
