Abstract
ABSTRACTThis study investigated the impact of innovation on organisational performance in MTN Connect Calabar, with a focus on technology innovation, digital service, and network coverage as key variables. Grounded in the ambidexterity theory, this research explores how these innovative practices influence performance outcomes. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select sample size and 11 respondents were used for the purpose of the study. An 11- item structured questionnaire was used to collect data from respondents. Simple percentage was used for data analysis, while simple linear regression was employed to test the hypothesis. The result showed that while network coverage plays a moderating role, technological innovation and digital services greatly contribute to organisational performance. This research provides valuable insights for business for business leaders and policy makers seeking to harness the power of innovation to drive organisational success. The study findings have important implications for strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and innovation management practices. The study recommended that MTN connect continue to prioritise innovation, focusing on developing a culture of Innovation, investing in technological capabilities and innovation technologies in order to secure customer's patronage, improve firm efficiency and overall performance of the organisation.
