Abstract
Computer security is an essential aspect of modern technology, with data encryption, decryption, and hash algorithms playing a pivotal role in ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of information. This project focuses on developing an expert system for computer security that integrates data encryption, decryption, and hash algorithms. The system aims to enhance secure communication and data storage by implementing robust cryptographic techniques. The research explores various encryption algorithms, decryption mechanisms, and hash functions, providing an in-depth analysis of their efficiency, security, and applicability in different scenarios. The expert system leverages rule-based decision-making to guide users in selecting the most appropriate algorithms based on specific requirements, such as speed, security level, and resource constraints. The results demonstrate that the proposed system effectively improves the decision-making process for securing data, offering users a practical tool to navigate the complexities of cryptographic methods. This research contributes to the field of computer security by providing a comprehensive, user-friendly expert system that ensures enhanced data protection through encryption, decryption, and hashing.
