Abstract
Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) is critical for enhancing resilience to climate change in vulnerable regions like Batagarawa Local Government Area (LGA), Katsina State, Nigeria, where erratic weather patterns threaten agricultural productivity. This study assessed the factors influencing CSA adoption among farmers, focusing on socio-economic characteristics, awareness levels, adoption rates, and constraints. A mixed-methods approach was employed, with data collected via structured questionnaires from 95 farmers across four wards, analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The research findings revealed that 80% of farmers were aware of CSA practices, primarily through extension officers (75.8%) and cooperatives (45.3%). Socio-economic factors such as education (χ²=20.516, p
