Heavy Metal Analysis in Sediment and Water from Ureje Dam Ado Ekiti

Abstract
n this study metals such as Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb, Mn, Ni, and Zn, in the water and sediment were determined using Buck Scientific 211 VGP Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The study revealed that the levels of all metals studied were generally acceptable ,but some were higher than the recommended standards.
