Abstract
Air pollution is a global environmental concern, particularly in urban and industrialized areas. This study assesses air quality in Port-Harcourt Metropolis, Rivers State, Nigeria, from 2019 to 2024, focusing on three major parameters: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), and aerosols. The study adopts the use of Sentinel-5P satellite data in Google Earth Engine(GEE), while statistical analysis was conducted using Microsoft Excel. The paired sample t-test was used to evaluate statistical differences in pollutant levels between years while ArcGIS 10.7.1 was used for spatial visualization. The results revealed significant (P
