Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study investigates the impact of digital media on traditional media in Nigeria, using Linda Ikeji Blog as a case study. The research explores how the rise of online platforms has altered media consumption habits, affected audience preferences, and challenged the sustainability of traditional media outlets. Employing a survey research design, data were collected from 400 respondents through structured questionnaires. Findings reveal that digital media, particularly blogs, are widely preferred for their speed, accessibility, and interactive features, although traditional media still retains a degree of credibility. The study concludes that for traditional media to remain relevant, it must embrace digital innovations and adapt its strategies to meet the evolving needs of modern audiences. Recommendations include integrating real-time reporting, enhancing audience engagement, and leveraging digital tools to improve media delivery
