Multi Tenant School Management System

ABSTRACT
The rapid evolution of educational technology has necessitated efficient, scalable solutions for managing multi-branch school systems. This project presents the design and implementation of a Multi-School Management System (MSMS) using the Laravel framework, aimed at addressing the limitations of single-tenant school management systems, such as data fragmentation, high operational costs, and lack of customization. The system adopts a multi-tenant architecture to centralize administrative functions—including student management, attendance tracking, fee processing, and communication—across multiple educational institutions under a unified platform. Leveraging Laravel’s modularity, Vue.js for dynamic front-end interfaces, and MySQL for robust data storage, the MSMS ensures scalability, security through role-based access control, and usability for administrators, teachers, students, and parents. Agile methodology guided the development process, enabling iterative enhancements and stakeholder feedback integration. Testing validated the system’s functionality, performance, and security, though limitations such as the absence of mobile integration and AI analytics were noted. This research demonstrates a cost-effective, adaptable solution for multi-school administration, contributing to the advancement of educational technology and offering a scalable alternative to traditional systems.
