The Role of Collective Bargaining Employees Committee in Nigeria Business

Abstract
This study was carried out to the investigate the role of collective bargaining and employee commitment in Nigeria business. To achieve this objective, three research questions were stated to guide this study. The survey research design was adopted for the study. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentages. A structured questionnaire was used as the most outstanding instrument for data collection from the staff of Power Holding Companies, Ekpoma. After the careful analysis of the data, the following findings were revealed that; collective bargaining affects management of Power Holding Companies, Ekpoma, Power Holding Companies, Ekpoma have problem associated with collective bargaining in enhancing employees commitment and bargaining have an effectiveness in enhancing employees commitment in Power Holding Companies, Ekpoma. The concluded with some recommendations that since collective bargaining is an important tool for resolving conflict, the employers should ensure that the procedure is followed in all matters that have to do with workers.
