Recycling Potential of Wasted Papers from Schools in Cross River South

Abstract
The study investigated the impact of waste recycling potentials of wasted papers insome selected primary and secondary schools in Calabar Municipality and CalabarSouth Local Government Area in Cross Rivers State as well as ways on how toimprove solid waste management within this schools.The target population of the study was all students, teachers, and administrators ofprimary and secondary schools in Calabar Municipality and Calabar LG.A.Random sampling technique was used. Fifteen (15) Schools were randomlysampled from which thirty (30) students were selected from each school. A total ofthree hundred and sixty (360) students were surveyed however, only two hundredand fifty (250) of the returned questionnaires (69.4%) were found to be completelyfilled and were used for the analysis secondary schools in the state for the study.
