Reward System and Employee's Productivity (a Study of Guiness Nigeria Plc)

Abstract
ABSTRACT Reward system is seen as one of the most important strategies in the humr resource management function,as it infuences the productiviy of employees growth and organization.The aim of this study is to investigate and analyee the relationship berveen reward system and workers productivity.The data for this sludy were collected from the primary and secondary data.The sample of the study reflected fifiy (50)respondents selected from Guinness Nigeria Ple,Benin Cily,Edo State using a random sampling technique.Data were analysea through simple percentage and chi-square method.Findings revealed that there is significant relationship benveen reward system and employees'productivity.Il was concluded that the significance of revard cannot be overemphasized in a bid to alracting,retaining and molivaling employees for improved organicalional productiviy:The research recommended that good and well designed reward sfrategy,in fact,play a major role in providing for an integrated and coherent range of human resource managemeni processes which are mutually supporlive and contribute as a whole to improving organizational effectiveness.
